GPS Garmin vs Magallen
Does the Garmin GPS list Campgrounds? I was at Best Buys and couldn't find Campgrounds listed but I noticed Magallen did list them. I am deciding which to buy Did I miss something?

I think much depends on which model GPS and what software you use with it. Are you looking for vehicle navigation? If so, there are far more options than just Garmin and Magellan.

I recently got the Garmin c330. When I look under "Lodging" it lists RV Parks.
Got mine from WalMart.com for $269 and they deliver to your local store, no charge.
So far so good.
I realy wanted it for the Motorcycle to locate our position on back roads, but have found it to be a very nice tool all around.
I think Cabellas also is selling it for $269. We used Wally's just in case there was a problem with it. Easy to return.
Happy Camping

My Garmin 2720 lists rv parks and many, many other things, like the other Garmins and probably the other brands.
One thing that has really impressed me about Garmin besides the quality of the unit and its software is their customer service. Quick replies to emails. In my last exchange with them I told them sorry so many questions. The reply I got was keep 'em coming. If you don't ask questions, I don't have a job.
Maybe the others are good, too, but I know little about them. I do know I am very impressed with this Garmin and the company.

I have had two Garmin units and recommend them to others. Since I use the GPS for hunting, fishing and traveling, I purchased the GPS 60C. If I want more screen, I use it with the laptop.

Ron, you can plug your 60c into your laptop? I still have a lot to learn about our 60csx. Did you buy the extra map software and, if so, do you recommend it?
