About this weather . .

Two days ago it hit 75 degrees here in Northern Virginia. Then it was 44 yesterday and we're forecast to have ten or more inches of snow on Tuesday. Just can't wait for the 110 degree summer days!

Me too, I'd much rather complain about how hot it is rather than how cold it is.

On the other hand, we have had a record warm winter this year. We typically have at least a couple of "ice events". None this year. Not complaining though. I used to like cold weather. No more.

Have already planted my onions, tomatoes, lettuce, spinach. And getting ready to plant corn, beans, and okra.

But then we will have a 10 page thread on how our AC units don't keep the units cool.

I vote for 75-80 degree days and 60 degree nights. Am I getting too greedy

Yep it's cold down here in south west Va too. I'm looking forward to STINKBUGS.

We have had a very warm winter here in central Florida near Disneyworld even by Florida standards. We do not complain as it is 22 degrees with a low of 15 for tonight at home in Northern Ohio with snow. It has been in the 90's here several times in the last couple of weeks. This is why we winter in Florida.

SE Michigan Power Company DTE announced it had its worst weather event in its' history last Thursday. Over 600,000 customers lost power due to high winds. There are still 94,000 without power now and temps are going down into the middle teens tonight. Happy to be in Lakeland, FL

Well I am finally happy that we are out of the record setting cold weather of December, January and February that we got to experience along with record amounts of snow. We are starting to see some 60 degree temps which is very nice. Unfortunately it seems to come with 25/45 MPH winds oh well I will take it. Happiness is spring is almost here.

Turns out we've only got about an inch or two, so I'm not even going to crank up the snow blower. My son just left for work just fine. Kind of happy I didn't start de-winterizing the Monty though. While it's just at freezing right now, the lows will be in the teens for the next two - three days before going back up to the 50's. Who knows, maybe next week we'll hit 80!

Just went down to 19 a couple of hours ago, now at 20. Supposed to be a balmy 30 today and we're going to 54 on Saturday - that 'hop, skip and a jump' makes a big difference.

We left Northeastern Pennsylvania by car last Thursday for Florida and avoided a 5 inch snowfall that occurred overnight into Friday. We arrived in Florida on Sunday afternoon and then Monday night into Wednesday morning avoided the additional 30+ inches that fell. Darn. Missed the big one.

We have been at or below freezing now for the longest stretch of a pretty mild winter. I was tempted to uncover the Montana in February, now glad I didn't. March is never any bargain up here.
