Rally Ideas
So who was kind enough to take some pics of the neat improvements they saw at the Rally?
Anyone have plans to use the ideas they saw? I'd like to see the wine glass rack along with other practical and useful things.
Help us who were not fortunate enough to attend.
John

A bunch of us at the rally took photos. I burned a CD of mine and gave them to Hamrad and I think that he is making a CD that may be available soon. If I am mistaken I will post all my photos (over 100) once I get home and get back to a high speed connection (after Oct. 11). We are in the Outer Banks now and using a cell phone (shudder!)

John,
There were about 18 folks who were "Officially" signed up and showed their ideas and improvements, GypsySCM (Sharon McKay) has listed all of these and I anticipate the lists will eventually get on here along with the persons who came up with the ideas, I suspect that in order to get plans, pictures and recipes you will need to go directly via email to the developer in each case. But
Sharon did a great job of documenting everything so there will be an {electronic) paper trail for you and everyone who is interested to follow on every item.
There were a few people who had some great ideas and developments that they were not ready to show. These I expect will surface in the future.
Stay tuned.

Thanks to all who have shared their pics with us. We will get them posted soon. Several folks have already gotten them up on various picture sites. We are working to have all the pics posted in one place. As soon as we have more info on this we'll let you know. Again my thanks to all who have shared. HamRad

Don't know if this is new....but we saw the dinette chairs with seats that open for storage. My husband just finished modifying our chairs. They look & work great. While he was at it,he recovered our entrance steps with carpet.Camping World wanted like $38 for 3 covers. He bought it from Lowes & did the work himself. Says the chairs & step covers together, cost $20.As he says, retired means he has nothing but time.Pat

"Camper, any chance of getting a description of how to do this? Thanks".
He says the 1st chair took longer, but after he knew what he was doing...it went pretty fast.It costs about $5 per chair.
Remove the chair seat.Use a 9 or 10" piano hinge on the front, to hinge the seat.Frame the inside of seat with 1x4...keeping below seat level.Fasten the 1x4 with 1 1/4" screws. Measure & cut bottom of seat from paneling or plywood.Fasten to storage bottom with small nails.Stain to match chair wood & done!LC
