Thanks
I'm not sure who posted this item, maybe Rich. A few days ago I checked the motor for the front jacks and low and behold I had one bolt that had backed completely out and the other was loose. The location does not allow a random inspection of the motor unless you make it a point to look at the motor. Thanks again.

Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave..How lazy can you get..have Cheryl go out and take a look. On mine it was the bolt on the far right side (looking in) the nut was practically off..do NOT over tighten as you will smuch the square tubing..apparently it is hollow.

OK... sent Cheryl out... Just kidding. Curiosity got the best of me. Both bolts/nuts seem OK. One black, one steel colored nut, though. The motor wobbles. Can't find a way to tighten it to the leg. Whats up with that?

Everything seems to be tight on ours but the motor itself moves around pretty easily. Not sure if this is normal or not. BR

Our motor sounded funny today, like something was rubbing. Checked it and it was wobbly. Bob was able to tighten 2 screws and then things sounded normal again. Things tend to shake loose no matter what!!

What two screws did he tighten, Myrna? My motor seems a little loose like the others above...

He said it was the left upper and rt lower ones that he tightened. The upper left was completely loose of the backing. He used a slotted screw driver. Even with those two screws snugged up, there is still a little play in the motor housing. It doesn't seat firmly to the backing. We looked through the propane compartment at the backing in case it was a bolt we were dealing with, there wasn't anything on that side.

OK, Thanks, Myrna. I will have to look closely for those screws. Missed them the first time. But they have to be there....

I have the same loose motor on my 2955RL and can't find any fasteners to tighten it up. I will look again, but I suspect that is the nature of the beast as it looks like there are two stops that allow the motor to torque to one side lowering the gear and the other side while raising it.

I found mine loose as well. Motor wobbles when running as well. Must be nature of the beast.
