Ours is a 3160RL--rear living (rm). outside length is 35' but inside length is about 31.5', minus the front closet to the rear the cabinets above the couch in living rm.

My opinion, the high country numbers & letters don't follow the same pattern.

Normally the # on your RV matches up to the interior measurement as you found out
We found out the same thing

What is difference between rear living, rear lounge, and rear den? Maybe RD means raised den since it is raised?

I would think that they all mean the same thing. But if the same brand it may be a way of differing between slightly different layouts. I have seen rear living rooms laid out multiple ways.

When we look at campers we have a list of "must haves" and "deal breaker". One of the deal breakers is the TV being offset to seating. That one really eliminates a LOT of floorplans (especially conventional toyhaulers). The idea of having to turn your head nearly 90degrees to watch TV is a big turn off for us. Particularly now that we full time and watch more TV.

Keystone could just as easily given them names (ALA SOBs that use names of cities for example, for their various models) Model number in the marketing world are less offensive than names, which people can also equate to any one of a dozen negative, or positive, experiences in their life that can affect purchasing decisions and the buyer will not be aware why.

There is a LOT of truth in that. I am from Arkansas and really hate items with some other states name on it (some worse than others and usually just because the state is full of itself).

As things go though I am rather neutral on Montana as it is also a small population state and I have had nothing but good experiences there.

Which brings up the question. What other state names beside Montana are used on TTs or 5ers?

My understanding is that model number has no reference to size or length. Typically numbers are sequenced so many lower numbers are an older floor plan. Not always. Often, model numbers are incremented internally as the models change in significant layout, i.e. from 3691 to 3791, etc. Just a numeric example, not actual model examples. I have not idea if there ever was a 3691, but I have a 3791RD. The 3790RD is for an RV fridge and 3791RD is residential fridge. That runs consistent with Montana legacy and mostly with HC models as well.
They couldn't use length because so many different models are the same or very close to the same length. Letters are as explained in previous post.
