lights over 1 sofa not working

Have opposing sofas...one in each rear slide. Each side has 2 led lenses over the sofa controlled by a wall switch in the slide. One side over one sofa now doesn't work. Odd that both lenses out at same time? wall switch issue?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Possible to swap the lens from the working side to the non working side?

These are 12 volt lights, so I would check the fuses in the panel. There may be no 12 volt power in that slide if one fuse is out.

the wire runs under the sofa. check to see if it got crushed or torn. you can pull the sofa out. at least that's how its wired in my front living room model.

If you take the switch cover plate off and short between the wires and the lights work then bad switch. If no change then you need to meter the switch to see if 12vdc is present on one terminal of the switch. If there is, then the issue is somewhere after the switch...like at the light that is closest to the switch. This will be where both ights are connected together.

Had the same issue a few weeks after receiving our unit. Under the slide they splice the wiring. It's a poor connection and material. Replaced the splice and added heat shrink to protect. The newer units do not have junction boxes.
