3750FL and other 2 Door model mod.

On the 3750FL which is a two door model, the front door has brackets and a gas strut on the top of the door. There's no need to secure the door to the coach when you want it left open or when loading all those grocery bags into the trailer in a breeze. It simply stays in the open position at 90 degrees from the trailer wall. The rear door has the standard arm that secures the door parallel to the coach wall. My RV dealer ordered the 2 brackets and the piston from Keystone and I installed the parts on the rear door today. PERFECT! No more fighting with the door. The parts cost $23.00. The part numbers are 182887 for the 20" strut and 178257 and 178258 for the brackets. The brackets are slightly different thus the 2 numbers. The 6 mounting screws are not included. Easy, cheap and very effective. Another simple improvement IMHO.

Thanks for the post. I will order the parts tomorrow. What fasteners did you use?

We have covered our screen door with plexiglass and would lose view with the Hyd. Cyls. We considered adding them but like our view. Larry

The dealer gave me 6 x 5/8" white headed phillips screws that worked perfectly. Be sure and silicone each of the 6 pilot holes before mounting the brackets.
