cable in bedroom
help please. We cannot figure out how to get the cable up to our bedroom. Cable is hooked up to the outside of the trailer in the input hook up. In the tv cabinet, there is a wall jack that has two cable plug ins and it had a small cable connecting both. So we removed the jumper and we hooked cable from the back of the tv up to the top plug in. Now we have no cable to the tv in the bedroom. We realize that we can go and get a splitter, but we feel it should be able to be hooked up from here without that. What is the bottom plug in for. we are assuming satellite, but that doesn't make sense to us.
any help would be appreciated onced again.

Jo and Rob,
We've done it but I can't remember how it worked. I'll have to go look tomorrow. Be sure you have the booster thing in the bedroom turned off - if light is on then it is on.
Happy trails.....................

In my experience, the 10" jumper has to be in place in order to serve both the bedroom tv and the living room tv from the exterior cable connector. The cable to the living room tv comes from a third jack in the entertainment center. I may be wrong or your setup may differ.
Also, the power booster must be off when using cable.

Put the main tv cable back where it was originaly put jumper where it was and it should work. Also be sure the ant amplifier is turned off.

I think they change this periodically. Ours is set up differently because they have a splitter in there with the FM antenna on it. I do know we were surprised the first time we hooked up to cable that the bedroom worked also. We normally have DirecTV and have a separate receiver in the bedroom with the cable out the window to the dish.
Happy trails.......................

On mine the signal for the cable is the bottom connector and you have to have a spitter when you come out of your dvd player to go to the top connector and the ant. booster turned off.
