SHHHHHHH
On my 3400 when using the water pump you can hear that thing running 4 campsites over. So I pulled the convenience cover back and added about a quarter inch of rubber pad under the 4 mounts. Quite satisfied with my accomplishment, I buttoned every thing up added some water to the fresh water tank to admire my work but it is still loud.
I guess I am going to have to unload the basement again and try stuffing some insulation material in there to see if that helps.
And for those who recommend buying a more expensve pump that is quiter- no can do on this retirement budget. Man that is tight quarters working in there. Why doesn't Montana guru's find a location that has easier access to the pump?

If you still screw the pump to the floor it will not help. You need to isolate the pump mounting. Take 2 small pieces of plywood that the pump will fit on, the bottom one slightly larger, and make a foam sandwich (glue the foam between both pieces of wood) screw the larger piece to the floor and the pump only to the top piece. I hope this helps, Good Luck
Also if you can get some foam pipe insulation place it over the pipes that are touching
or anything they are laying on to stop vibration transmission.

You need to feel the water pipes and see if they are vibrating. If so splice in a rubber hose section on both input and output sides of the pump. Those pipes can telegraph noise too.
Good luck and let us know what you find.

Mine makes 3 times as much noise until I purge all the air out of the lines and accumulator tank. Every time I hook up to park water it puts air into the system, then the next time we're boondocking the pump noise is horrendous. My outside shower is at the end of the line so i just run the hot and cold till all the air is out. Much quieter.

In the refrigeration business we use a cork section with rubber on top and bottom. Rubber-cork-rubber, really works well. You could fab something like that and screw the pump base to that. Also, a flex line into the pump and out of the pump would isolate it. Like on your bathroom stool water supply.
Good luck with it.
It is tight working on these rascals..

Hey Ozz, you have a 3400 and had the thing apart, can you get to the water pump through that bottom panel on the lower step?

Mine was very loud also. The dealer put some pipe insulation on the pipes and secured them better and I can hardly hear the pump now.
