I miss South Padre Island so, but Kansas City is a large city, with many attractions and businesses, some outstanding ones, and many that are not.
I want to share a couple of places with you that I have enjoyed over the years.
I buy Chocolates and pastries for my best customers and good friends from Andre's on the Country Club Plaza, here in Kansas City Missouri.
I remember a bank I took care of, I always brought a big box of chocolates and pastries to the ladies when I came to service the HVAC on a monthly basis, when I relocated to another company, the bank dropped my former company and came with me to the new one.
The power of great chocolates and pastries!
They have a wonderful assortment of fresh pastries every day, they are works of art, and delicious as well. The Swiss Chef is indeed an artist.
I will include a link or two for you showing the pastry and chocolate display cases and the seating area for lunches.
Fritz's smoked meats is another gem we have here. Family owned and run since 1927 Fritz Plapp was a certified Metzgeri (master sausage maker) he passed down his recipes and the craft to his sons and grand children Wonderful sausages and smoked meats, links provided for them as well.
(No pun intended, I'm not that clever...)
Give yourselves a treat and order something from them.
It is just under 1100 miles from you to Kansas City, but shipping would be painless.
I have no connection to these businesses, just appreciation for them.
