A new first time flooding mess

Pulled into Fredericksburg KOA. As I have done for 30 years, starting hooking up, turned on the water, setting up the sewer line, and water starts pouring out of the bottom of the fifth wheel, next to the hot water heater. At the same time, a yell from the wife who had just walked inside. Apparently somebody/something knocked the handle to the kitchen faucet turning it full on, and when I turned on the water, water sprayed everywhere, with most draining through the living room slide next to the heater to the ground. Wife was mad because I started laughing, but I was happy, as no repairs, only some cleanup to do. Probably won/t happen again in a million years.

Sometimes the wifey fails to see the same humor we do. LOL Glad nothing major. I have turned on the water outside many times and briefly think........are all of the faucets off inside.

Glad it was a Delta Seria repair instead of marjor plumbing.

Should have tried King's Dominion instead. Every time I've been there, they have the water OFF for one reason or another......

In our house that's a constant worry. We turn the water off when we are gone and check before we turn it on. If you want to be constantly aware of the possibilities just have a cat in the rig, or in our case three cats in the rig.

Glad that it was as simple as that. When I saw the title to your post, I feared the worst. Nobody wants to deal with a flood, but that ones kinda funny, even if some of us don't think so. I was at that Fredericksburg KOA July of 2011 for the 4th. Not a bad little place.
