5th Wheel Latch Kit
I know there were some previous postings regarding this alternate to Blue Ox Bedsaver though I couldn't find them. Here is the link to the other product.
http://www.butchsservices.com/5604DRSE.html
The photos used are for my hitch and I am not financially involved with the product. It seems I ended up being the test for this series. It was very difficult at first because the kit was originally manufactured for the older hitch. There is limited room under the head to apply the bolts to the studs and the rod needed to be longer. Butch will be supplying self tapping screws to the newer kit.
I hope I never get to test it real time but I will still have a little piece of mind. Butch did test on a similar series and it worked though bent the rod which is still cheaper to replace than the Blue Ox.

Hope he gets around to making one for the Reese 20K hitch soon.

That's what mine is. I think he forgot to include that size in his web site.

I can't find the old link either. However, I have one and it works great. Easy to install. Butch will work with you and can let you know it it will work on your hitch. In return for pictures of my final installation, he offered free shipping if it could not be installed. Give him a call and I am in no way affiliated with the company.

The first one I received was for the older hitch and he did provide a prepaid shipping lable for the return. He also includes a punch and drill bits to aid in the installation of the kit. If I remember shipping was about $10 extra for the initial order. It looks like he raised the original price a few dollars to cover the additional cost of the sef tapping screws.

If my blue ox wasn't given to me free of charge, I would have gone this way. Looks safe and easy to use.
