Fridge propane issue

Generally our fridge works on propane, but occasionally it stops working on propane. For example - it could work for 8 hrs and then the flow of propane stops. Before we go to bed the fridge is working on propane, but when we get up early morning the light is flashing indicating that the propane is not flowing. The issue happens on either of the tanks and they are full. Has anyone experienced this issue and do you know what might be causing it? Appreciate your feedback.

David

I'm wondering if you have a flow problem, and when the furnace is not running and your fridge is, everything is good. Then, at night, when the fridge may be off but your furnace may be on, then the fridge wants to run but there isn't enough gas volume available so the fridge locks out due to not enough gas. Just a wild guess, but I would suggest having the system checked if you don't find anything obvious.

As Bob said, it could be a flow problem. I believe the 3150 series had a problem with the propane flex line under the slide out getting kinked. The usual symptom was no flow with the slide in but if there is a kink it could be your problem too. Take a good look at the hose and see if you can find/feel a kink.

I’ll check to see if there is a kink in the line. We were in the Palm Springs area when we first started having a problem with the fridge propane staying on. It was in the 80sF so we did not have the furnace on. Thank you for the responses.
