Vents on roof

In the attached picture you can see we have 4 black pipes/vents on the roof plus one flat white one.

Based on the location I am hoping that the one black vent that I added the finned venturi to is the black tank vent (it is in the wall directly behind the commode and the commode sits directly over the tank).

However there are three more vents forward and to the right of that location all together. I am guessing that there is a vent on each of the two gray tanks but what would the third one be for??

Then there is that flat white vent towards the rear of the unit??

I added those vents to all my vent stacks. Why just one, do them all. The flat looking one is an attic vent. usually there are 2
. 1 front and 1 rear.

I was just trying out the venturi to see if it actually would pull the slight black tank odor out a little better. It does seem to make a difference but we are also out of the worst of the summer heat too.

More curious in what the extra vent would be. We have three tanks so why 4 vents???What is the extra one for?

I have heard that the flat one is an attic vent. So there is actually a space between the roof and interior ceiling? I figured there wasn't any space there or if it was it was full of insulation?

Judging by the floor plan on your unit, I'd guess one is for freshwater.

isn't the fresh water vent on the side (wall) of the trailer?

My guess would be the drain for a washer, but might it not be that they ran an extra vent instead of bath sink and shower grey combined or do you have two sinks in your layout and not just one? Yes, there is space there. Look up and sort of sideways through the shower skylight. Just guessing here.

There is space between the roof and the ceiling. The vent is often refereed to as a mushroom vent. The white disc you see on the roof is attached to the base plate via a threaded rod. They do tend to get loose over time so whenever on the roof hand tighten them by rotating the disc clockwise. If you don't a future visit to the roof may reveal a missing disc. That's if your lucky. If not lucky water spots on your ceiling will reveal the same thing.

I was just speculating since it's a toy hauler. The freshwater tank is likely located over the axles. That's where most toy haulers carry the freshwater tank instead of in the back. My previous trailer was a toy hauler, although from a different manufacturer. Maybe they didn't have room for a side vent because of slide outs in that area. Just speculation, of course.

the 'pancake' white vent is something that keystone puts on some of their trailers to vent the roof.

Okay so since no one has asked yet and it has been a few days since Jim has been cranked up, I'll ask it.

Why didn't you ask about it during your PDI?

I know I will pay for that one later.

Any idea where you can get replacement vent covers at for those?

Mushroom vents can be found almost anywhere. There are numerous Threads here about them. Do a Search on "mushroom vent" to find more information.
Amazon has the two piece replacements.
https://www.amazon.com/d/Automotive-...room+roof+vent
Here is a link to a site that sells just the top piece which is all most need. And it is much cheaper.

My caps are completely roached. Judging from the pic in the rvandmarine.com link Carl provided - the rotten cap simply unscrews to remove it?

Yes the top portion of the mushroom cap simply on the screws Lefty Loosey. I put a dab of silicone on the new ones so they wouldn't untwist off

That fourth vent by itself to the rear wouldn't possibly be a vent for the toy hauler garage area?
