Dehumidifier

In our Jayco TT I would leave a window cracked open thinking the fresh air would be beneficial - until I noticed mildew growing on the door of the refrig. So when we upgraded to the Montana, I bought a dehumidifier. Now I run the ceiling fan on low, a ceramic heater on 60deg F. and the dehumidifier. I know that south Mississippi is probably more humid than other areas but when I run the unit for about 8 hours it extracts over a quart of water. This seems like a lot for such a small area. Wonder if anyone else uses a dehumidfier in their units while stored.
