ANOTHER USE FOR THOSE BOUNCE DRYER SHEETS

On a recent outing one of our members, Crossthread, was telling me that he has found using Bounce dryer sheets to clean his shower in the rig worked really well. It got rid of the soap scum on the walls and the glass. I just had to give it a try and it worked great and left everything looking like new. I also noticed it did a good job at removing water spots from the fixtures too. I was skeptical about these things taking bugs off the front cap, but that worked well so when I heard about this I just had to give it a try. Who knows what else these things can do!!???

They are pretty handy. Also work as a softener for clothes

Ok dumb question wet or dry. In the shower not in the pockets.

In the shower you want it damp, not wringing wet. I usually just spray the doors with water and get the dryer sheet wet with that.

Does the brand have to be Bounty, or will Downy dryer sheets also work? I think this was addressed some time ago, but I've forgotten what the answer was.

I use Downy dryer sheets. And I save them from the dryer and use the "used" dryer sheets in the shower. I see no reason why any brand wouldn't work, but I'm not sure about that...

Carolyn
Carolyn,
I have always used the "Bounce" brand. I don't know how well the others will do on the same tasks. I know there are some who use the sheets after they have used them in the dryer, but I have always used a new sheet out of the box for my cleaning needs.

Don't forget they also work great for removing the bugs from your truck & mirrors.

Very true, but they will also remove the wax.
