Instead of camp hosting we volunteer at state parks or now for Fish and Wildlife. The time requirements are, for the most part, less. The state has it's own website and application process ( http://azstateparks.com/volunteer/sites.html), but for the Feds go to http://volunteer.gov (you do have to register but it doesn't cost anything) then you can pull down the state you want to work in and pull down any of the government entities that are looking for people. It will tell you what they offer and what they expect and you can go from there. Hope that helps.
