All we wanted to know and guess what we got?

Stopped in at a RV dealer in Fountain Valley, CA. to inquire about the Automatic Leveling System and we are now the proud owners of a brand new model they don't even have in yet! Yes, we ordered the #3700 Montana! Not only is it new but even got a brand new color, Cobalt. Not only that, but it has what they call the Big Sky package which is the only way you can get the Levelers. This includes a full-body paint, Levelers, upgraded tires and the rounded shower. The Montana website doesn't explain all of this but the newest brochures do.They no longer make Big Sky's. Are we crazy? We are currently in Arizona because the Monty won't be in until the middle of April and we have to return to California to pick it up. This means...here we go again..PDI,pitching,sorting,packing and all of the other things that go with it. To our facebook buddies please don't mention it on-line as we haven't told our kids...so shhhhh it's a surprise.

Ha! Good for you. and why not!
That is a good reason for us to stay away from the dealerships... but a new toy is so much fun.
Enjoy the anticipation.

Oh no!! stopping at a dealer can be bad for the pocketbook can't it? You need to put on blinders and go directly to parts or service, do not look around. Congratulations on that new rig, that's a great floorplan. I know of a few members that are just dying to see one of those up close and personal

We have been looking for a 3700 for some time. While there allegedly was one at the Florida RV show all we get from dealers is a blank stare or something to the effect "..later this year..". I saw where the Big Sky Package is now an option, there is no description of it on the web. It is surprising they have printed material on it but nothing electronic. Montana's printed material usually lags reality by several months

I am surprised the Big Sky is gone as there were a few more features on it v. the Montana other than paint and rounded shower. I guess I have to go by the dealer and check the brochure. Strange I just talked to them three days ago and they were one of the "..in the future.." crowd. So if they have the new brochures, they haven't read it.

I hope you can find one as this dealer only had 2 brochures and we got one of them! We must have been at the dealership for nearly six hours as they were calling back and forth to keystone dealing and wheeling. We are going by memory of the one we saw on the factory tour in Goshen and this is the first one ordered in California. We will be at the Fall Rally in Goshen.

I bet Carlson is confused by this post. I made it and for some reason it was posted with his name. Anyway, congratulations Colleen

KSGirl,
We learned our lesson about "stopping at the dealership" We drove off with a 2010 3455 two years ago this month. Problem was we had an 08 3400....ash trays must have been dirty! I heard DW wife yell out from the back of the house...."Did you see the new floor plan of the new 3700?" Sounds like we need to stay clear of the dealerships........

Congrats on the new rig!!

we saw that one at the tampa RV Show in Feb. It is a nice unit and I think would be great for fulltimers. I am sure you will like it

Coleen and Ray-- Great unit! Congrats! Why don't you give us a sneak preveiw on the new unit at the Central Plains Rally? It's just up over the border of Kansas, as long as you're back to the home State! It's in July and we can all get to see it prior to the Fall Rally too! The Big Sky package is definately a good looking unit! Haven't seen the new Colbalt color however! Looking forward to seeing it! Take care and have a great day!
