Amarillo by Morning

Not the song, the location. Today is M-Day, on thy way to pick up our first Montana. The anticipation has about driven us nuts, hard to think of anything else. You guys have a great day.

What an exciting time it is. Are you gonna sleep in it parked at home? The title of this thread is killing me...I keep wanting to ask if you can hum a few bars...

Congratulations! Have fun!

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

The KOA in Amarillo is pretty nice or better yet the Palo Duro State Park just south of town.
Enjoy!

Well I made it back home with everything in one piece, including myself. I feel like I did when I was a kid and got my first horse. The PDI went great. The young man that went through it with me was very thorough and answered every question I asked with genuine knowledge of the subject. I never once got an "I don't know" or "I'll have to ask someone else". The other people at the dealership were all very friendly and made sure I was well taken care of while the hitch was being installed in the pickup. Everyone that got close to me had something to offer, from food, to vehicles. It was a reall nice experience. Ozz, I've been humming that song all day, didn't you hear it? Yes, I thought about sleeping in it tonight, but will probably wait until tomorrow when I might actually GET to sleep. See y'all later.

I know what you mean about the hospitality, been living with the Texas kind about 28 years now. I think they come by it natural.
