Removing The Furnace

Started to remove the furnace in our 2010, 3075RL, it's mounted vertical. I removed the 4 screws on the outer face plate, & set it aside. Then removed the 12 screws holding the plastic retaining ring, bent back the metal clips, dug out all of the calking, & removed the plastic retaining ring. I can see the propane connection. What else is holding the furnace in the Monty?

Can you get to the furnace through the belly of the unit? That's how I've removed my work partner's when daubers stopped it up. I didn't have to remove anything form the outside.

I agree, although not obvious, their has to be a way in through the belly of the beast. We are currently out on the road, & won't be home till April 1st. I think I'll wait till then to dig a little deeper.

Our Furnace is mounted horizontal in our 2955. I just removed the back panel removed two wood screws holding the furnace to the floor. Disconnected Gas line and Wiring Harness. And just slid back this was done from inside. This maybe little or no help to a verticle mounted unit.

Forgot to mention in addition to Gas Line and wiring harness disconnect duct work.
The two screws that hold my unit to the floor I am thinking your unit has two screws holding it to a verticle wall just thinking!

My furnace access to remove my vertical furnace is by removing the storage compartment bulkhead wall.
