Average Rates

When we decided to sell the house and about everything else and go full time, we figured our annual lot rent would be about the same as what we had been paying for real estate taxes and utilities at the house. After a little more than a year we are almost on target. We did almost 9 months in Illinois and over 3 months in Florida. This year will be almost 8 months in Illinois and a little over 4 months in Florida. This has to be the Best Kept Secret ever for retirement living!!!!!

True! There is a wide variety of camping arrangements out there depending on ones likes and dislikes and how your rig is configured (solar, etc). If your not having a great time economically, you're not doing it right. Even the really high dollar RV Resorts are still a bargain compared to "normal" resorts.

I think if more folks knew how nice these new Rv's are and how many nice resorts there are more people would sell everything and go Fulltime like we did ,it is a cheap great way to Retire especially when the Kids go back to School in Sept and the Campgrounds empty out

That's our plan, soon as we recover our equity in our home. Finally seeing some daylight, CA real estate took a huge dump but is coming back.
