Thermostat Upgrade from Duo Therm with remote

Need guidance in replacing a 2 button Duo Therm comfort control t-stat with REMOTE that uses the RJ-11 cord. Already purchased the new Dometic single zone t-stat with relay control kit. The RV is a 2005 Montana 3400RL. The AC is a Dometic Duo Therm 59516.531. The new T-stat control kit is 3313189.000. The concern i'm having is I do not know where/how to connect the 4 wires coming from the furnace on the new control box as the old control box had spaces provided for the 2 white, 1 Red, and 1 Black. Please help.

The infamous Remote Control Thermostat installed in the 2005 -2006 model Montanas was a great idea gone wrong. They were notorious for their erratic set points (+/- 10 degrees was common) and their propensity to turn on the heater and the A/C at the same time.

The solution is to replace the Remote Thermostat with the Climate Control Center (CCC) thermostat. Montana and Dometic usually did this for no charge back in the day. I suspect you will have to buy it yourself today for about $200. The change over isn't too difficult.

Everything you ever wanted to know about this topic (Part Numbers, installation instructions, photos, etc.) can be found in by clicking on the following link to a 34 page discussion on this POS.

I am needing some info on how to get proper replacement parts for my thermostat. I have the dometic duo therm ac. With the remote. I can’t find a part number on the wall Mount part of the thermostat. Does anyone know how I can get that or know the best replacement thermostat for this?
