The MOC represents a very, very small number of Montana owners.

My stomach hurts from laughing so hard! I thought I was watching a Comedy Central show - until I saw the Youtube logo . . .

That they would make that video and put that out indicates how out of touch with their product they are.

The video they didn't show was the one of the delivery driver removing all the tape after hooking up to it so he would not receive a ticket for littering on his way to deliver the unit. Tom Happy Trails

Tom and Trisha, I am glad you posted that and I was able to have a good chuckle. I wanted to post something similar but I am trying not to be to negative with Keystone.

I find some of the comments interesting. If I am miss reading, sorry, but if you are not happy with your unit, why did you buy a Montana / Keystone? I worked for a major supplier of the RV industry and all builders bought the same items. We have a 2015 High Country and have had a couple issues, but I expected that. I agree Keystone should ask owners more about issues. But I had SOB before and this is still a great unit. We are still happy and looking forward to many years with the "glamper"!
Enjoy!

I purchased two Montana's because if I thought there was better in the prices range I would have it. You are right they are mostly the same but that is no excuse for poor quality control.

Steve and Lisa we bought our Montana because it was supposed to be rated as a full time luxury unit. We were looking at the Montana Mountaineer but I liked the upgraded suspension and other items that came with the actual Montana. We were also close to buying a Siverback by Forest River Cedar Creek Division. The one we both wanted was the new Arctic fox which was 39' and a widebody but was just to long and substantially heavier. It's construction was far stronger and substantial than our Montana. It did not have some of the little extra touches that does come with the Montana. We liked the length and the look of our 3160 RL LE.
What it really came down to was length and weigt of the unit that would work for the locations we want to visit. Our last Arctic Fox only had one real problem, the heater circuit board. It did have a few small issues but they were easily resolved. We still like our 3160 RL LE layout and believe we will be happy with it. We just wish we did not have some of the issues that should have been caught by the builders or at last resort by the so called inspectors. That did not happen and we are still trying to get the problems resolved. It has been a very slow and tedious process. We are still without our unit and so far it has been at the dealership over seventy five percent of the time since we purchased it.

Steve and Lisa, 75% of the time since purchase sort of says it all. Took us eleven months before we could say our 2015 had everything fixed that for some reason sleeked by the QC program so bragged about by Keystone. Bottom line my perspective, Montana used to be a much better product than is coming off the production line now. In answer to your question, unlikely our next rig will be a Montana.

I can't believe with your experience that you thought they were trying to be truthful. They know what they're producing. They track the problems and complaints. So did Ford when they made their decisions about the Pinto.

That is why I can't believe they did the video. Should that not be false advertising.

Does not Keystone Montana management monitor this site; Are they not interested in posts from folks who are.choosing not to buy new rigs and folks having problems with the new ones they do buy?? Do they not recognize a superior historical reputation taking hits and the potential loss of sales?. Montana was built in part on repeat buyers, who experienced a quality product combined with resposive customer support, folks like me, who stuck with the brand. Maybe when they start losing market share, they will start paying attention to quality again. We have owned Montana units since 2002, and clearly something has changed with Keystone focus. Montana rigs are still great rigs, superior to most in the same price range, but they used to be better.

This is our third Montana and will be our last. We took the factory tour at the rally in 2012 and could not believe the lack of any type of quality/inspection.
To have a rig with red tape all over it to show the defects they found how about their quality team doing a first article inspection on parts they receive from the vendors before they install it.
Then have an inspector to look at everything they install prior to covering it up.
Then the construction trash they leave behind when it would only take minutes to clean it up before they cover it up.

False advertising would be the heated bathroom and bedroom floors in the Legacy editions.

I understand why Keystone made the video, I don't know if they watched the video. I said before we had few issues with our 3750. That said I can report finding cosmetic issues on several units we saw last year at an RV show. Not only did they get past the "Keystone Quality Cops", the issues got past the dealers who brought them to the show!

2X what The Oldguard said. I am on my third Montana and I must admit I have had few problems. However i am still getting sawdust out of the AC vents this after a year of ownership.

We are a very small % of those who buy and own Montana's. The film was pure marketing for the public. The public is conditioned to believe

Until it affects sales, things like cleanup won't happen. 5 extra minutes a station equals about a half hour per rig. 22 or more rigs a day equals at least 11 more hours per day. That equals 55 hours a week or about 20,000 hours a year. Now tell me the company that puts cheap backflow preventers in every rig hasn't already figured that out.
