Furnace...Burrrrr

We have had our 3295 for about 2-months and have yet to use the furnace. Went camping this weeked and needed it....and it failed us. Luckily the fireplace provided some warmth.

The next morning I was determined to find the problem. I removed the vent to the furnace.....found nothing. Removed the auxillary light in the storage compartment that gave me limited access to the furnace.....nothing. When I checked under the 5er, noticed that the LP pipe suppling the furnace was capped and the copper tubing that supplies the furnace was not connected (to the capped pipe). 5-minutes and I was heating with gas.

Lesson Learned.......check out all systems in advance, even if the dealer says he did.

You are right about checking out all the systems in advance. We check everything at least 3 days before our trip is to start. I hate to get someplace and find out the heat won't work. It is usually because I did not fill the propane tanks. Check both the propane and electrical for the fridge, all the lights, inside and outside, battery, fill propane tanks, then go have fun. Thanks for the post.

From another Adams family,
This is why a PreDelivery Inspection (PDI) check list is so important.
Find one here--- http://users3.ev1.net/~crossstitch/PDI/pdi.html
