Shower light

We installed a LED light in the shower this afternoon. It was a pretty simple install. We pulled power off the single hall light outside of the shower, ran wire to a hole we cut in the ceiling and then hooked every thing up. We removed the Fantastic Fan shroud as well as the shower skylight one. All told, took about 30 minutes.

Michael and Kathy,
NICE! You have to come to some of the Rallies so we can see in person all the wonderful mods you've made to your rig.

Thanks for the info and especially the pictures.

Michael, where did you find the LED light? Looks like the one that I want to replace the four living room ceiling lights with.

That’s a nice looking job. I believe those lights would look good on an older model above the bar! Hmmmmmm!

I wouldn't recommend replacing the OEM fixtures with the one that I put in the shower. The one in the shower is a marine courtesy light and while it provides sufficient lumens for bathing, the fixtures in the living room and kitchen demand higher wattage. We are in the process of replacing our halogen bulbs with LEDs of like-lumens. We have purchased a few from a distributor here in south east Florida and while we are extremely happy with the purchase, we are looking for better bargains...And we are on the hunt.

Try Super Bright LEDs. They have a pretty good selection and seem to be quite reliable. Check with Dave Anderson, who has a number of them.
