Do your exit windows stay latched?

Finishing week 4 of full timing. We have noticed on each trip that a random emergency exit window latch will come unlatched a little. No pattern, it has happened on different ones. We have not opened them during our stay and forgotten to close them. We check before moving and find one open upon arrival. Any suggestions? 372rd MHC. Thanks

We had one come unlatched in a Forest River product in 2010 and when it opened the wind at highway speed removed it from our trailer. Ever since then, we secure the latch with a rubber band, no problem since. Suggest that you find a way to secure it as replacement windows are expensive and hard to find.

I have one opening - but that is due to blind falling and breaking the plastic piece that holds the handle closed - $40 and sweat …

I found the issue. The metal handle on the frame and the latch on the window are not aligned properly. They catch a little but are not spaced properly to make a good fit. Bounce down the road, and the catch unlatches. I guess I can wait or just drill 2 new holes and reposition the pieces. Any suggestions?
