campground near kennedy space center
Hi everyone. We tried the search engine for campgrounds near Kennedy Space Center and came up with no match. Does anyone have a suggestion for a campground?
Thank you.

There is a very nice, but somewhat pricey, The Great Outdoors RV, Nature, and Golf Resort near Titusville where we stayed last year. Easy run to Kennedy, Canaveral, Merritt Island NWR, etc.

Jetty Park Campground is right on the jetty the cruise ships use to depart port. This is a Pass Port campground.
I searched google on Cape Canaveral RV and had a large hit. Good luck.

I second Great Outdoors.... tgoresort.com Pricey, but it's got to be one of the nicest RV parks we've ever been to. And if you're lucky in your timing, I'm told you can see a shuttle launch from the park.

You can try, Manatee Hammock County Park. I understand it is right across the Inter-coastal from the launch pad.
Also, Titusville has a KOA.
If you do go to Manatee, please let us know how it is.
Edited: Found and added URL to Manatee.

If you have four-legged kids double check jetty park restrictions I THINK they have a restriction on pets.

I have been to Jetty Park a few times for short "get-aways". It is a "no thrills" park. They do have a nice fishing pier and you can walk to the beach easily. There are nice seafood/steak places to go to on the water-way.
Went to Manatee park once last summer. Lots of trees. You need to have bug repellent for the "giant blood suckers". They too have a nice fishing pier. Just my 2 cent input.
