Congratulations to The MOC Wizard

There are other meanings of the word Wizard besides “one who practices magic or sorcery”.

The noun “Wizard” has two meanings:

1) A person with a high degree of knowledge or skill in a particular field.
Synonyms: ace, adept, authority, dab hand, expert, master, past master, professional, proficient. crackerjack.

2) Someone who is dazzlingly skilled in any field.
Synonyms: ace, adept, sensation, maven, virtuoso, genius, hotshot, star, whiz.

The adjective “Wizard” has one meaning:
Possessing, or using, or characteristic of, or appropriate to supernatural powers.
Synonyms: charming, magic, magical, sorcerous, witching, wizardly.

Congratulations to Steve Reigle for obtaining the status of “MOC Wizard”
upon his 10,000th magical post at the MOC forum.

If it were a count of quality instead of quantity.... you became a “Wizard” long before that.

Congratulations Steve! Thanks for all your great help.

About how many hours do you estimate it took to reach 10,000 posts?

Gee. I know you won't believe this but I'm at a loss for words. Thank you for all the very nice remarks. But I'm not sure they're really earned. There are so many people here with far more experience and knowledge than I have. Most of what I've posted I've learned right here and just pass on to others as you all passed on to me. But I appreciate your very nice comments far more than I can say in words.

Besides, I always thought a 'wiz' is what we guys take in the woods.

Dan and Sandy, we may just take you up on that if Rita doesn't push fuel to 5 bucks per gallon as CNN is saying may happen. That would curtail our plans somewhat.

How many hours? Gee, I don't know. But it's been almost 3 years. And I'm a fast typer. And a motormouth.

Thanks again.
