Looking for the relay

Sorry to be a pain on the forum but can anyone help me find the slide relay. I've got a 3455SA 2010 and I've been looking for the relay, I've got a new one coming. Also is it 12volt D.C. Or 120 volt Ac? Thank you

I am not sure where yours are but I think mine are in the same compartment as the battery. It should be 12 v as the slides work with or without 110v.

Look behind the batteries in the garage area. There are two breakers there. The wire from the battery goes to the first one which is the one which usually (you never know what the old world craftsman did) goes to the hydraulic pump. The breaker looks like the picture below but has a red removable cover over it.

Thank you, I found those 2 relays I'll try to trace the wire to the relay. I had my wife run them while I put a volt meter on the relay. I'll try it again but on D.C. Thanks again.

Those are auto reset circuit breakers, not relays. If they draw too much current, the internal contacts will open (stopping the slides), cool off, contacts will reclose, and slide movement will continue. They are also noted to get weak over time and begin tripping often. Amp rating of the breaker should be stamped on the side to of the case. Many of us have replaced them with higher current rating breakers, with Keystone blessing I might add. A search on slide problems will find a number of discussions on the problem.

They are definitely 12 volts DC, and the photo shows ours, where I replaced the hydraulic pump breaker with an 80 amp breaker. It was originally a 40 amp breaker like the other one in the photo.

The poor excuse for a manual that is provided with these rigs will not help you. Your participation on this forum will give you most of the knowledge you will need. You should also go online and download manuals for the appliances, and all the various components on your rig, as that will help you when dealing with a specific problem. The axles, suspension, pin box, slides, and almost everything on these rigs are made by a company other than Keystone, so that is where you get the manuals.
