What Is That Pointy Thing?

For those that have the little tip out drawers under the sink. There is a nice little tray in there but what is that pointy thing for???? We keep scrubbies in there and the extra sink strainer but I can't figure out what the pointy thing is for.

You got me on that one! LOL I just checked out our little drawers where we also keep scrubbies and we don't have any "pointy thing"??? Maybe we got cheated or perhaps you received a bonus. Maybe a left over workman's tool?? I am sure with this group on MOC we can come up with some creative explanation. Anyone else got a "pointy thing"??

Good morning Parrothead.
That little "pointy" thing is for your rings. To keep them safe as you clean up. It was explained to me when I had a new one installed.

Yep,

Have pointy thing. Until I read Cathy's post I thought it was for a Key ring, but I like Cathy's answer better.

Happy Camping

No pointy thing in ours, either, but, speaking as the dishwasher in this family I could appreciate a pointy thing to put my ring and watch on when it's time to get those dishes sparkling clean again (can you tell this is one of my very mostest favorite "chores"?)

Would someone please post a picture or link to a picture of the
now-famous "pointy thing"?

Thanks,

Parrothead, posting it nowadays is easy. Got to www.tinypic.com . On that page, click on the Browse button and find the picture on your system. Then click on Host It. When the page returns, scroll down. You'll see several urls down there. Click on the one with the IMG tags. Then copy it with either ctrl-c or use the menu and Edit/Copy. Then just paste (ctrl-v or Edit/Paste) complete with the IMG tags in a post. The IMG tags are what will make it show up in a post. If the file is very large (say more than 50k) it might be better to delete the IMG tags and the surrounding brackets when you paste it into a post. Then it becomes a link and we can click on it to go see it.

Tbhd, you don't have the tipout drawer? We have two. Ours houses a bottle/can opener, a couple pair of scissors, a lid opener, and other odds and ends.

2/6 edited to correct the url. I'm very sorry I inadvertently added an "s" to the end of the url and that happens to take you to a porn site.

Steve--Nope, na-da, no way. Got the 3670 model and I guess Keystone figured we didn't need it. Stick house has one and I really like them. Darn!!!

I now have a picture of the pointy thing. I went to the tinypics website and did not find a browse button. I don't think I want to put anything on a site that has a Kid Porn category. I'm trying webshots.com.

Sue ... Steve said to try the tinypic link without the "s" ... different, and obviously totally nasty, site with the "s." try www.tinypic.com

(I just looked at his post and he put the "s" on it ... king sized oops! He'll be coming along soon to fix that! Sorry ...)

Our last Monty didn't have a pointy thing but I sure hope our new one does. I don't want to feel left out. Steve, how far into the sink do you get when you wash dishes??? It must be quite far if you have to take the watch off. LOL
