Mirror Glue

The mirrors in our bathroom medicine cabinet are just laid in place and a yellowy-orangy glue was used around the perimeter of the back to hold it in. Some of that has now "let go" and needs replacing. Any suggestions on what to use ? Do I need to remove the doors to lay them flat ? or is there something more like caulk so I can do them "in place" ?

If it is like the stuff on the cupboard doors over our TV, they used a form of hot glue, and I tweaked it with our own hot glue gun. Just one door does it, it seems to be determined to keep popping out. Lately seems to be holding, maybe we finally got it fixed. A small annoyance, guess if it comes back I'll get out the hot glue gun again!

I agree with Country Guy. Use a hot glue gun and a little more glue. You have to know that these rigs take a beating on the highways and it really amazes me how well they hold together. Ours has been on the road full time for over 5 years and we haven't experienced the mirrors coming loose.

When our's let go we gave up on the glue and used 4 chrome mirror clips found in our hardware store!
