Slideout relay's sticking

I have a Big Sky 2000 3280RL, and the last time out we noticed that the slide outs kept going when you released the button. Not a problem when you are expecting it and just let them run all the way in or out. But when your Great Grandbaby (2 1/2) hits the switch and you are in the house 50 ft away, near disaster. I came in him on the couch and the slides in various stages of in or out. No matter how hard I tried they just randomly started in and then out. Finally got them out but could not stop them until it tripped out on preasure. I am sure there is some relay's that are sticking. I would have cut the pump wire but didn't want to hand pump them.

Contact MOC member MIMF and you should get the answer to your question. He is a representative of the Lippert company that makes the slides.

Send a message via MSN to Parrothead
We had this problem with a previous unit. Your switch inside may need replacing. Easy job. Like anything else they wear out.
Happy trails.....................

MIMF, Dale Brubaker, is on the way home from the rally. He should be home sometime Wednesday. I'm not sure if he's going back to work on Thursday but he'll likely check his email and maybe the forum. His phone number at work is 574.537.8900 extension 4303. Or go to the Members area, search for MIMF or MIMF2, click on his name to go to his profile, then click on the link to email him. Dale is a good guy who will do everything he can to help you out as he has done for many of us.
