Have a safety problem? Window Latch Broke?

Hello Group,

As some of you know, Kinro has a problem with the emergency window latch breaking. No parts available? Is your's broke?

Both myself and another member have filed a complaint and both of us have gotten a call from the NHTSA. They are concerned about this issue. The gentleman that called me is a supervisor and we talked at length about "issues".

The NHTSA asked for more pics and window size this afternoon.

Thanks for posting Jim. I would hope anyone with one of these broken latches on their emergency windows would go on-line and fill out the form. I have now went almost 12 months with mine wired shut because no parts are available. Another great customer warranty issue that Keystone has failed at.
