Question Clearances

well in getting a montana, (has to wait till next year). but in parking at the strick-n-brick, i need a bit more room to fit behind the gate. (a good 10 feet).
can any out there get the measurements of clearances behind the rear tires.
as in ground up to the lowest part of the trailer. and how far forward of the rear that goes. yes i know different coaches have plumbing and such in different places,.

my problem is a small concrete retainer wall. easily three feet will clear it. maybe a bit less. need to back up to it. thinking if i can fit the rear over it.

i can try removing and digging out said dirt... but live rock abounds here.
not sure how hard to remove that. (miners called it hard rock mining) by doing that i can easily gain 15 level feet to the rear.
at 58 it would take me a while to dig it out, and move it to the back yard. where i can use it. less time if no major rocks in the way.

rental tractor?? would save my back. but kill the wallet.
but for now just need to see if i can make it fit.

coach length is 40 feet. maybe shorter if a better model comes out that is a bit shorter.
the coach can easily fit on the drive with feet to spare. but at a slope. side yard is flat.
plenty of room to even turn it around in the back yard. but would need to build a access drive.

.

No way you are going to get the ass end of any camper to go over a 3 foot tall wall. Im guessing my spare tire is 16" off the ground, rear jacks maybe 24" max. From rear of rear tires to rear end of trailer is around 12 feet+

I’ve saw where people took a 12 foot tall camper under a 10 foot bridge. That isn’t pretty. You probably can get a new camper over a 3 foot wall buy that ain’t going to be pretty either.

thanks.
i was beliving the coach would not have that much room.
so when the heat dies off this fall i can start digging.
i have plenty of time to get this dome. as i am dropping some big bucks on repairs to my truck right now ( why i must wait to buy)..
or find a way to build a couple very stable jack blocks for the front landing gear.--easest way.

never used one of them. have owned a small front end loader tractor.
but time will tell first i need to find out about the native rock. lots of it around here. even a large out cropping just five feet away from where i must dig.

Hard rock miners use BANG. Depending on how things slope you may have between 0 and 36 inches. You also do not mention which model you are looking at. On ours, we have 8-10 inches from leveler feet to ground when on level ground

true. i was just looking at general numbers.
as now i like the montana 3700lk.
a rear window would be good. but i do like this layout.
nothing heavy in a slide. and kitchen and living room are separate areas.

Talking

well i decided to buy this year. pickup the coach next week. (pending any problems). 3701LK.
after reading a bit, i decided i would give the residential fridge a try.

if i get a chance i will dig some dirt, and cut some trees (branches really) out of the way latter this year.
it would stick out into the driveway a bit. but can install a bit of temp fence till i can back it up all the way.
first mods will be in the power supply system. already bought a built-in surge suppressor. progressive ind, heard good about them so will see.

Congrats on the new unit! We LOVE our 3701LK. Only issue Ive had so far is a few of the kitchen tile has come loose and 1 has even came off. Got new from dealer without issue, had dealer go thru Keystone and they are trying to get me all new tiles I can replace it with silicone adhesive on back, not just the stick and peel they use.

problem:
dealer finance lied to me.
they have tanked my credit score ( down over 100 points).
no word of any loan, and this is after agreeing on payment and intrest terms
if not good by monday. then sad, time for a lawyer.

This is like buying a house or a truck. On each of my 3 rigs I had the financing ready to go before I went shopping. I do love to have control.

No you don't own an RV if it cant be financed.
No you are not required to buy it. If you can't get credit how can you buy it?

Go to your bank or credit union and see what they can do?

Come on guy take control of this thing.

The 100 point drop in your credit rating can be explanted.

But I don't think one credit inquiry would make that much drop in your credit score.
Unless they tried a bunch of banks.

Something stinks about this whole thing???

this is why i need a lawyer. i am not very good at contract law.

my bank will not loan for a rv. i do have a account at a credit union very little used only $5usd in savings there. so doubt they will loan, seeing as i have nothing in there bank. ( it was just a parking lot to pay the irs kept them out of my real bank account).
monday will shop for a lawyer. get out safely from any contract or agreements.
then avoid paul everts rv in fresno.
and not sure why the huge drop.
i just know it was 720 before. and now at 600. drop as listed by a loan refusal letter.
