Yosemite Pines vs Indian Flats vs KOA West/Maripos

Trying to nail down a spot to do Yosemite from. Have any of you stayed in any of these? Pines and KOA both look OK, Indian Flat has little info on their web site. Thanks for any and all help!!

We stayed last spring at the Yosemite West/Mariposa KOA near Mid Pines. It was one of the worst RV parks I have ever stayed at. Very tight spaces, rude people in the office. I had to back out of a pull thru. My friend complained about the WIFI not working($6.00 per day)and the office person said "if you don't like it just pack up and leave"

Wow...not the reaction I expected! Thanks for the warning. Yosemite Pines is looking better already!

Walt,

We stayed at Yosemite Lakes which is 5 miles from the west entrance. It is a Thousand Trails Park but they also let non members in for a fee. There are photos on their website below.

Nothing exceptional but convienient to the park. https://www.thousandtrails.com/getaw...emitelakes.asp

This one looks good. Do they leave us non members out in the middle of the field, or could we get lucky and end up in the shade by the creek?

I am sure they will give you the same choices as a member. When we were there we chose the field because they were larger sites. If interested give them a call.
