maybe a "goodbye'
I don't know if I might be on this forum or not much longer. Something happen that I don't agree with and if I am not I just wanted to say to the friends (you know who you are) and the friends I have been lucky enough to meet that it has been a pleasure and I have enjoyed the forum and learned alot about the montana fifthwheel. I guess I'm just to old fashion and believe in speaking a persons mind "truthfully". I dont think I have ever hurt anyones feelings on here on purpose. Anyways we'll see what happens. However it comes out I will still be fulltiming as I have since oct 1998. And will still meet the friends I made here and elsewhere. thanks
Tom

Tom I for one would hate to see you leave your a breath of fresh air. And have alway thought your comments were to the point. Really hope you continue to bring common sense instead of the politically correct anwers. Truth is always the correct answer. GBY....

Tom, you can't scare me or insult me or hurt my feelings. I teach high school. It's a good training ground for anything I see, meet, or hear!
Just last week I survived introducing William Carlos William's poem "The Red Wheelbarrow":
so much depends
upon
a red wheel
barrow
glazed with rain
water
beside the white
chickens.
When I asked the students to "analyze the poetic devices and explain how they contribute to the overall meaning of the poem," you should have heard the verbal abuse and criticism that came raining down on me. No, you can't scare me, insult me, or hurt my feelings!

Don't leave Tom. I also have been insulted over the last week on here but I let it just let it roll off my back. Times change and I think people or personalities on the board are changing lately. This place wouldn't be the same with out your wooden creations we so enjoy seeing when you post them. If you do take off please pm me and Iwill shoot you my e-mail address. I love seeing those birds!

We are at our best when we keep our discussions confined to Rv and Montana Division issues. That is really what this forum is all about.Perhaps we should confine our post to issues where we have a common interest. The are other forums or other venues for other issues. I have decided to stay off a couple of threads and to avoid certain topics... This forum needs to get back to its roots..Rv'ing.

Many men and women have given a lot and some times the ultimate to allow us the freedom to make decisions and to exercise the freedoms. It is up to each of us to make the correct decision.

Tom, I know I haven’t personally met you but I know I would miss your contributions if you weren’t on this forum. There are things that I don’t agree with but it isn’t in my power to do anything about it. Please don’t just leave; I enjoy viewing your carvings and your postings. You are a great contributor to this forum.
As far as getting off the topic as to what this forum is about, there are off topic places that things can be posted and a person can remain within the guide lines of this forum. I don’t think we should be restricted to just strictly talking about our Montana’s or tow vehicles!

Tom, Don't have a clue what you are talking about, BUT, please don't let someone run you off. I can only agree with what others say about your posts and your expert carvings. Remember, we all have opinions, and that is just what they are......

Tom,
I think all of us have had some moments that we have been upset with postings on the board. I took offense when someone questioned my sincerity about a post that I made. I almost fired off a response to the post, but held my fingers. I hope you change your mind about leaving and just take a break from the forum.
Let me take this opportunity to say what great work you do with wood. You make it come alive and doing so put a smile on peoples faces. Good luck in the future no matter what you decide.
Colleen

From what I read, MOC is more of a family than a bunch of rv'ers. If it is indeed a family place, then don't families discuss different stuff and enjoy each others input.
If it were me-I would blow it off. But then, I am an ornery SOB and I don't mean 'some other brand".

Tom,
For the life of me, I have no idea what you may be talking about. I know there are times when I sense that things may be a little too close for comfort but I just feel that remarks must be for someone else. Especially when I can't figure them out! Stay on board.

Tom,
Not sure what happened, but don't let it get to you! We (I) need your sense of humor and sense of how you look at life without all the nonsense that surrounds some people.
