New Monty Soon

Looks like we might get delivery on our new Monty (3400RL)by March 8th or thereabouts, (possibly one week later because of weather). Starting to get really excited. Hope I don't have any trouble twoing it. I've gotten used tot he 3280, hope the extra length doesn't mess me up.

Know the feeling. Our 3475 is supposed to arrive at the dealer tomorrow and hope to start the PDI and take delivery the first part of next week. If things go right, we will be on the road next weekend.

That's some great news rickety and msmoonsatx but I do not envy either of you when it comes time for the switch. You will be wondering where all the stuff came from? A neat trick we learned from a new Mountaineer owner was to have the 2 rigs parked door to door. Build a ramp long enough to go from door to door. Sure beats repeatedly going up and down all those steps.

Glenn that's a great idea about the ramp! There is enough room to do that very thing at the dealer.
Thanks

Had no idea you were on the move up the Montana ladder. Great news. I'm sure the weather has not let you fly the RC. Hope you can make a visit up our way. Enjoyed our visit last fall.

Rick & Phyllis,
Great news!! We are scheduled to receive our 3400RL late April to first part of May...we just can't wait. Please make sure to post pictures of your new unit when you get a chance to.

Did you purchase it with Tacoma RV? If so please let us know how your PDI goes with them. We will be doing the PDI with them and want to know how receptive they are to a persistent picky purchaser that will not take the unit off the lot until it meets their satisfaction.

Can't wait to here from you guys when you take possession of your new rig!!

Karl, we purchased our current 3280 from LaDonna and when I picked it up and did the PDI there was no problem. We found a few things, and they were repaired before we left the lot, with the exception of the front cap (had a ding in it). That took two days, so we waited topickk it up.
They are good people to work with, I have had no complaints.
LaDonna's mother is very very ill, so she is back and forth between here adn Montana whre her mother lives.
I don't forsee any problems with the PDI, and will be using the 12 pager from the site.

Congrates on your excitement have lived in ours for 5 months and still get that excited feeling. The thing I noticed going up another 10 ft. is, it rides much better. Tows just as easy just set up your corners a little differant til you get used to the longer wheel base between the Monty and the truck. Yee haa!

Rick and Phyllis that is nice that the long wait is almost over. After you get it you will know the wait was worth it.
