Phoenix
We've settled in for the month of February at Desert Shadows RV Resort in north Phoenix. There are at least two other Montanas in the park (mini-rally?). One of them belongs to Gene and Shirley (therebnme) who followed us and the caravan from Quartzite. Then we discovered that they were heading to the same park in Phoenix where we had our reservation. What a nice surprise. I see a lot of Mexican Train in our future.
If anyone is in the area, be sure to contact us. We'd love to meet/see you!

I think you are right close to us. Our permenant residence is near 43rd ave and Bell except, I spend most every day at Glendale airport building and hanger flying. If that is close -- not sure where Desert Shadows is -- drop me an email. BTW in north Phoenix the Deer Valley A/P has an excellent brekfast Buffet on Saturday and Sunday.

Yep, we are in Desert Shadows, too, with Judy and Glenn.
Mexican Train is on the agenda, if anyone is in the area.
Should be in the 70's by Thursday. Yea!!!

I'm sittin here in Raymondville, Texas just north of Harlingen. Nice place with WI-FI, a game room, 55+ park with lots of activities..no pool or hot tub, but for $200.00 a month..where else can you live for that..they have a golf course next door. A small town with no traffic jams and close to all the activities near South Padre. Even have a Walmart. Port Mansfield is just 20 miles away for fishing on the Gulf. Paved roads, small slabs for patio, otherwise grass. No security, Stop in..you will like it. I am the only Montana in the park. Gateway RV Park. Very few spaces left. Lots of seasonals and little doggies and golf carts

Hi Dave & Victoria
Desert Shadows is at N.29th and Union Hills. We're not real familiar with the area, but I think you are fairly close.
Mexican Train is on the menu the beginning of next week. Let us know if you are interested.

Dave,
Don't worry, until I met Judy at the Goshen rally I had no idea what mexican train was. Just make sure that someone other than Judy is keeping score...

Dave, Mexican Train is a domino game. Lots of fun....even when I don't win! Yesterday I kept score and Shirley won both games.
We're looking forward to meeting you folks, too. We've taught a lot of people how to play Mexican Train (most get addicted, by the way) so, if you're interested, you could be our next victim, er, student.

Dave, Glen and Judy are excellent at teaching you how to play Mexican Train. They were our instructors also at Goshen. Just make sure you don't have any money on the table as with Judy's skills, she will be shopping the next day at your expense.
