High pitch noise while shower running..
Hi I am Mrs. Swanny and Kevin has posted about the problems with our 2012, 3625RE. Well I want to know if anyone has had a problem with the shower making a high pitch noise? This only happens when the shower is turned on , not when the water is running in the tub. The so called tech said it was acceptable and nothing to worry about. Our 2009 did not make any noise like this one does.It is the same shower. I am so upset about this. I am going to ask him to fill the tanks and run the shower before we leave, see what happens. Thanks for listening.

So does ours. If I change the flow rate slightly, I can get it to stop.

My suggestion would be to take the shower head apart and see if there is any kind of a flow restricting device inside the shower head. With the shower head removed, turn the shower on and see if the noise stops. If so, the problem is isolated to the shower head, and the cause is likely the internal parts, possible a seal of some kind not seated properly. If all else fails and the problem is isolated to the shower head, tell the dealer to replace the shower head, or possibly purchase a better one. Hoping this helps.

I moved this thread from the Mission Statement forum.
Sometimes this problem is because of a bad checkvalve in the water line where it connects to the water heater. Can you tell if the sound is coming from the water heater area? I don't know if the water heater is close to your shower but if it is then this might be the problem.

OK ours does it some time, but then again so does the shower at the stick house. At the house it comes from the diverter valve in the tub spout. When we've been on the road the rubber in the diverter gets dry so the first few showers at the stick house can be quite noisey. Try wiggling the diverter knob a little and see if you can change the pitch, might help isolate the source.

Ours does it sometimes. I usually just shut off the diverter valve and turn it back on and noise goes away.

Could it be that Kevin is singing in the shower?
(Pardon me but I couldn’t resist!)
Hope you get it fixed.

My 2011 has the high pitched shower head sound from time to time also. It usually goes away when I turn the hot all the way open and adjust the cold to suite.

Thank you everyone, I made a few calls today to other Camping World dealers and asked if that noise was normal , they said no ,there is a problem somewhere and it should be looked at. So I gave the dealer that has our Montana a call to let them know I want it fixed, left a message no return call. They told me yesterday it was normal not to worry about it. My 2009 didn't make any noise and it has the same shower head.
Thanks, Kathy
PS I love all of your pictures...

Our home shower has a "high pitched noise" that is caused by the DW flushing the toilet when I'm in the shower.

We had a pressure regulator out side and our Shower and it did the same thing, When I took it off it quit. Now once in a while it will start doing it again, But all we have to do to get it to stop is turn the water up higher.
