Cherry Hill in DC

Has anyone stayed at Cherry Hill in the DC area in the last 6 months? I have heard rave reviews, BUT both of my sons, who both are Federal law enforcement agents in the DC area, say that the College Hill area has become one of THE most dangerous parts of the DC area. I have stayed in the past at the DC KOA, and it was fine, but wondered about Cherry Hill, as we will be there in 2 weeks. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!!

We stayed at Cherry Hill in April for 5 days and found it to be quite nice.

Its location inside the I-95 / I-495 interchange offers some seperation from the "neighborhood" at large.

On Sunday, we drove over to the Greenbelt Metro Stop and caught a train into Washington DC and the Metro Bus stops right inside the park.

I think you can feel safe there.

We were there last Oct. Nice park, nice people, nice transportation arrangements if you didn't want to take your vehicle out of the park. We did some driving around the area and to the metro link terminals. Never felt unsafe. Jim
