We swapped out all six of the Rodian HTX after having two tread separations on our new Ram @~20k miles! Had Discount Tire install 6 Bridgestone Dueler LTH.

I'm on my second set of Michelin LTX A/T2. The first gave me 63k. 50% of the milage I put on the truck is towing. Rotate at every oil change. Very happy with the ride. Not the best in snow but I try to not drive in the snow with the truck. I snowbird it when family obligations don't hold us back.

Well my son just told me he is going to be a QA engineer at Cooper on Monday. I told him I will be getting Coopers and i know who to call if there are any issues.

70,000 miles on any tire??? That is way past my comfort zone. 50,000 is max for my Michelins on the F250 as well as my wife's Terrain. I am really careful with my wife's car--I don't want that call from her that the tires gave out. Yes, rotate and balance every 5000 miles--just like oil/filter changes. Just my opinion.

I have a 2017 Silverado 2599 that came with Goodyear tires. They were terrible but I ran them 25K miles before replacement. I wound up buying Continental Terrain Contact HD. Seemed like the best alternative for my 20" wheels. I have been very pleased with them. I have about 10K on them and they look hardly used. Have pulled about 1500 miles with them and they have a more stable sidewall than the OEM tires. Got a great deal at Discount Tire along with great service.

Michelin Agilis tires

Anyone have any experience with Michelin Agilis Crossclimate tires? My 2022 GMC Sierra 3500HD AT4 came with Goodyear TrailRunner AT tires in 275/65R20 size and they are almost done at only 27,000 miles, 9,000 of that towing our 5th wheel. Discount Tire has the Agilis tires rated above other Michelin tires and the product info says they are better for towing, even thought they cost less than the other Michelins that Discount Tire recommends for my truck.

If I want to avoid Chinese tires, which so called American brands must I avoid?

According to Google
What brand of tires are still made in the USA?
https://www.goodyear.com/en_US/tires...ire/24464.html

In fact, there are only two genuine American brands: Goodyear and Cooper. The largest foreign tire companies with plants in the US include Michelin, Pirelli, Continental, Bridgestone, and Yokohama. However, to make sure you buy USA tires, you should make sure they were made in the USA-based plants.

Just went through this process trying to decide on a tire, after all they are not cheap and you don't want to have buyers remorse. Read lots of reviews and talked to some friends. It is really hard to know, you think it would all be science and to a point it is, but there is also a lot of "this is what I like".

In the end I went back to a tire that I have purchased twice before and was very happy with (they were installed on an F150). Goodyear Wrangler AT Adventure with Kevlar. Reading reviews online it really isn't a lot of folks favorite tire but I have had good experience with them. I put 70000 on my first set with about 30000 of that towing. they have great wet and snow traction (in my experience).

They did good on the F150, but the 3500 is a much heavier truck and the fifth wheel is much weightier than a tow behind. We will see how they perform on the 3500 towing a fifth wheel. The big unknown at this point is the durability, how many miles will they go before the wear out??? We will see.

Many Yokohama tires are made right here in Salem Virginia. The company headquarters are elsewhere but the tires are made here.

Mine are holding up quite well in the front of the truck. The rears I had to replace after about 50K miles. These replaced some GY DuraTrac tires that were recalled. Most of my miles the last few years were towing the Montana, so I can't complain about the durability.
