Cradlepoint MBR 95 or Pepwave Surf SOHO

Anyone have any experience with either of these 2 wireless wi-fi routers? Since we do not have a hardwired internet connection we need a router so I plug into with an ethernet cable so I can monitor the solar panel charge controller remotely. These routers offer the ability to access campground or any wi-fi signal to get to the Internet.

We had the cradlepoint, actually still have it stored at the home base somewhere. Worked really well. We replaced it with a Jetpack and at times are tempted to break it out again.

Les,

I have a two Cradlepoint MBR-1400 routes, one the house and the other in the Monty. The one in the Monty setup to use my phone for internet connection or I can use Public wi-fi, and get firewall between them and my network. I also have 4G LTE mode caps on them, but currently have them deactivated. My phone is old Verizon 4G LTE, with unlimited data, so I use the phone most of the time, since it is faster than most pulic wi-fi. The MorningStar Controller is plug hardwired to the Cradlepoint.

Thanks Gents, just what I needed. Looks like a winner. Cannot wait to hook up the Midnite Solar controller. They now have an app to be able to check on it remotely thru the phone....yes, more toys!!!
