Boise ID area campgrounds, RV parks

We've read ads for several RV parks and campgrounds in and around the Boise area, but I know from reading the posts on the forum that nothing beats getting a first-hand report of the good, the bad, and the ugly. We are planning to stop in the Boise area on our way to the 7 Feathers rally and would like a recommendation for a place to stay for one night. Please feel free to e-mail or PM us with suggestions.

Thanks so much,

Carolyn

We stayed at "On the River RV Park" in Boise a couple years ago for a week. It was a nice, clean park although lots of gravel and the sites were close to one another. Our site was across from the Boise river, which was nice.

Two years ago, we spent three days at Hi Valley RV Park. It's a ways off the freeway but it's very quiet, and impeccably clean. Most sites are pull through on gravel but all driveways and roads are concrete. The loction is North of the city up on the hil overlooking town. We'd stay there again.

Sounds like we have two good places so far. This will be more of a rest stop than anything, but it's good to know what options are out there.

Thanks so much!
