Black Caulking oozing out

My big window on my 3000RK has black caulking starting to ooze out from the framework. What product should I use to recaulk the window. This is only happening on the big window and none of the other smaller windows.

I am not sure it is caulk, it may be buttyl(sp) tape. Around some of my windows that I have replaced, I used gray tape and it oozes out. I just scrape the ooze away.

I have the same thing happening on several of my windows. When it is hot out I just use my finger to press it back into the area it's coming from and wipe away any excess. BW2 is correct... It is butyl compound

WD 40 will likely remove it and not damage finish. Larry
