Dave and Vikki, really nice job on the website. You have been in some of the same places as us. I was trying to place the lighthouse but don't think we saw that particular one. Ran out of fuel, huh? I came close but we made it...

Tedd and Lillian, nice website you have, too. Enjoyed the pictures.

Here's hoping you both have occasion for many more fond memories in your travels.

Thanks Steve. The lighthouse is at Ludingtom MI where the Badger ferry leaves for Wisconsin. The picture was during a particularily nast stir-up of lake Michigan. Even the charter fishing guys stayed in port.

Thanks, Dave e Victoria. We got to several lighthouses in MI but didn't get to that one. After Traverse City we cut inland to visit friends near Detroit.

Ken & Ginny,
Nice picture. Where was it taken?
Also, you caught my attention as I have two families of cousins named Deiss. We pronounce it DICE with a long I. They lived in western Wisconsin but probably were from immigrants from Cherma in Checkoslovakia as that is where most of the community came from. Anyway, I thought it was interesting.
