water pump

I have a new 374fl nice unit only thing the water pump keeps coming on every3 minutes. Only for about 15 seconds so you think there is a leak somewhere.

You are loosing pressure somewhere. It’s possible for air to escape and not water. Check the connection at pump first

First thing to check is the connections to the pump, then the rest of the connection on the back of the convenience center. Several were a 1/4 turn or more loose on mine.

I haven't even had a screw out the walls in the compartment yet. I guess I better take it apart and have a look

If there are no water leaks, it may be that the water is leaking back into the fresh water tank. Check valve is supposed to prevent that when pump is off.

Ours did the same thing when we filled the fresh water tank and forgot to turn the handle back to city water. Leaving it on fresh water fill will allow air into the system. Easiest thing to check first.

I found the exact thing as rslopez65. I forgot to switch back the tank fill and the pump ran exactly as you described!

I'm glad my 2011 unit has the gravity fill port in addition to the pressure fill. Much easier to fill. IMHO They should have never gotten rid of that feature.
