Shower not draining

We bought our Montana used and are using for the first time. Shower is not draining. What are we not doing? We do not have a owners manual.

I assume you have checked that your shower grey tank is not full? Most rigs have 2 grey tanks, 1 for the kitchen sink and a second for the bath sink and shower.

With water in the shower pan, take a plunger and plunge down, but peel the plunger back up.

Another word, plunge down but not up.

There is flap in the pipe that gets stuck and stops the water from flowing. It acts like a ptrap.

If it is the Hepvo valve (google it to see what it looks like), do not put a snake or something else down the drain. It has a membrane in it that will be damaged. Usually you'll find them in the plumbing right under the shower in the drain line. The best way to clean is is to take it out and gently run a cloth or paper towel thru it, or it is easy to replace. On our old rig I poked the membrane and it wasn't very hard to replace.

You don't say what year or model you have, but it really sounds like the tank needs to be drained. If you have drained your tanks already, did you drain two or three tanks? It may be possible that you missed a drain pull, and that is why the grey tank is full, backing up into the shower.

Sounds to me that your shower gray tank is full. You don't say what year you have but since it is a 3150, I'm assuming it is newer. There are three tanks-- Black and two gray. If you have drained the black tank the shower gray should be next to that handle in the convenient center where you hook up your water supply. They should be labeled. Since I don't have a 3150, I would guess that the other gray tank which is normally the kitchen/galley gray tank drain handle is either between the wheels or in front of them. Pull the handle if you find it and see if the water disappears in the shower. Maybe someone with a 3150 will jump in here and tell us where their drain handles are on their unit. Hope this helps some!
