RAM 67,500 Mile EGR System Clean & Filter

My 2011 6.7 3500 RAM diesel dually is coming up near the 67,500 mile maintenance. What exactly has to be done?? And what happens if you go past the 67,500 miles??
Also I have heard the if it is registered in New York that they will do the maintenance under warranty?? And if so where does it state that?? Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
Also how hard is it to do it yourself??

Have the same vehicle. DPF clean out was the biggest thing I remember for the 70K maintenance. Don't have the means to perform the service myself but I would imagine if you have either the chemical or heating means you could clean it yourself. Can't help you on the NY state warranty scenario.

Your owners manual will tell you what service(s) is required at 67,500.

You might try the Turbo Diesel Register forums there are threads there on the procedure or try Genos Garage they have kits if I remember right , I know if you are so inclined it can be done by a do it yourselfer
I am about 10k away from doing mine and I thinking of doing it myself

I bought my CCV filter from Amazon, 8 or 10 bolts and the old one comes off, reverse to put it back on.VERY EASY.

After replacing the CCV, I thought the truck had more power to it.

Also cleaned the EGR valve, very easy too. Here's how from Geno's garage:

https://s3.amazonaws.com/cdn.genosga...GRCleanKit.pdf

Didn't do the EGR cooler though, seemed to involved.

EGR valve wasn't too dirty, just soak it on Simple green fir 24 hours, almost all the soot came right off. What didn't, I used a tooth brush to get the rest off. Rinse with clean water, then I used the exhaust of a shop vac to blow dry it.

Geno's give you all new gaskets to replace all the old ones.

VERY EASY TO DO....

I was told by my dealer that they recommend a TerraClean Service for the EGR ports for $465. That service seems to hook up a machine to the fuel system and flushes chemicals through the EGR cooler, EGR valve and clean it all out. I'm still trying to see if that is worth the money versus pulling the EGR valve and cooler off and cleaning them. Base on the Youtube videos, the TerraClean Service may be worth it.

Thoughts?

The DPF for my 08 F250 will never need to be cleaned. It's setting in the tractor shed. Hasn't been on the truck for 8 years.
