We belong to Thousand Trails so our choice has been "Russian River" campground. Many TT campgrounds are now opening their doors to outside visitors, otherwise I have no other specific experience. But I'm sure there are many others.

That's a beautiful time to go there. Our favorite winery is "Sterling Winery". The parking lot is below the winery which is on the tops of some hills and one can take the tram to get up there. Beats walking and the tram has nice views.

Several years ago we stayed at the Wine Country RV Resort in Paso Robles many times. It was very nice back then. If it's anywhere as nice as it was, i'd recommend it.

Art N Marge we had a different experience at the Thousand trails at Russian River a few months ago and left after 1 day the Resort is So old and the roads so skinny and No sewer at site it was Horrible for Big Rigs ,it is a decent Resort but not for the big rigs, when we finally found a spot we could fit in it was a close fit ,we saw a big Class A come in and scraped up his side trying to make a corner ,when we were at Napa we stayed at NAPA VALLEY EXPO very nice and close to town sometimes you can not get in there because they use it for Vendor RV's when they have Fairs etc...

Santa Rosa County Fairgrounds has very nice FHU sites. Can do day trips to Napa, Dillon Beach, ocean.... SF if you wish.

It also is a Passport Americas park

Paso Robles RV Ranch has room for large RV's when in the Paso Robles area, and the Novato RV Park in Novato has room for large rigs when up in the Napa area. You are aware that Paso Robles and Napa/Sonoma are two very different areas and quite a distance apart? Haven't stayed at either one, just poking around to see what's out there

Ditto on the Wine Country RV park in Paso and the fairgrounds in Santa Rosa.

We were at the fairgrounds two months ago with our Chico Elks RV group and will be going to the Wine Country park next month with the Elks group.

We have stayed in both parks several time and always enjoyed it.

If you wanted to stay further north than Paso, King City has a very nice RV park that is part of the Monterey county park system.

We've stayed at the Napa Valley Expo. Minimum amenities, but right in Napa. It's sometimes very hard to get a reservation.

Thanks for all the input on places to stay. We tried to get into Wine country RV but there booked up during our time frame so were still looking. Thanks again, Steve & Sara

You might try the Monterey County RV park in King City its only an hour north of Paso and is really nice.
