F-450 Deep??

Lower your Th wheel hitch or maybe create storage space under the hitch.
If nothing else, the rear tires are great.

Looks like they're using a superwide tire in lieu of a dually.
I wonder how long it will be before OEM truck come with superwides versus duallys as supposedly superwides can be more fuel efficient.
Sure would make checking tire pressure and airing up easier than with the dually...

I agree, I see cement trucks and Gas haulers with single tires on there trucks, and they carry a prity heavy payload, I would love to see some nice wide tires in my wheel wells, with one valve stim on each side.

That truck would never tow your Monty. Can you imagine trying to start up a steep hill with all the weight on the rear and your drive wheels in the front. You'd burn off the front tires in no time at all. Good looking truck but no cigar.

Don't think you will ever see the wide tires on a small truck. The reason being, you would have to have 2 spare tires.

They are out there, because I have seen one of them it was on a custume what used to be a dulie, and he put a wheel that was as wide as the two wheels combined and one big tire as wide as a slick, but not a slick. now all they have to do is get the load rating so it will handle the weight.

What's with the dual rear axles??? (red truck bottom of the web page).

Well... not really axles. What would you call that... a six wheeled vehicle?

And could you argue with a toll booth attendant that you only have ONE axle???

Yes, the Spare tire would be an issue.
Interestingly, when I bought my used Dually from a Dodge DEALER, there was no spare tire! They go missing you know...
Just the frayed cable remained so I had to replace the winch (another dealer), get a wheel (E-Bay $$) and got a tire from a good Samaritan off the Turbo Diesel Register...

Flat tires fortunately are not too frequent. Maybe a temporary "universal" spare would be developed that would fit on front or rear axles if needed...

Tradeoffs, tradeoffs...

Its SNOWING in Montgomery AL
